The journey of the straws

Our straws are produced in a way that is kind to planet and people. Made from 100% edible products aka vegetables, our straws are an environmentally sustainable marvel of culinary innovation. Crafted from simple ingredients of 100% vegetable flour and water, these are ingenious alternatives to paper straws and offer a dope twist to the drinking experience.

Not only are they sturdy and functional, but they also boast a subtle taste and colour that complements a variety of beverages, from refreshing sodas to rich cocktails.

What truly sets veggie straws apart, however, is their eco-friendly nature. Biodegradable and compostable, these straws offer a guilt-free solution to the global plastic straw pollution crisis, making every sip a small step towards a cleaner, greener future. All while saving trees and reducing green house gasses from decomposing paper straws.

The process

Veggies are grown, then harvested. Processed in an ethical, living wage production warehouse. Straws are produced by extruding veggie pasta dough into long, thin tubes, similar to how traditional pasta shapes like spaghetti or penne are made. Once the tubes are formed, they are dried to achieve the desired texture and hardness. The result is a sturdy, edible, sustainable alternative.. good in every way!
